THE SKYWAY EPIC MOUNTAIN BIKE RACE The Skyway Epic is an endurance mountain bike race in the Talledega National Forest. The race will be 60ish miles long and feature enough climbing to satisfy a mountain goat, enough rolling forest service [...] It’s all over but the cryin’, folks…and it’s only me cryin’. The trailer is parked for a while. What a great season. We started and ended with epic mud at great venues. Thanks to all the support staff, promoters (Wig,Hiott), Jacquelyn(my lovely wife), Matt,Jason,Lindsay, and of course all the racers. The forcast currently calls for rain so be sure to bring your tents and umbrellas to keep the grills dry. Remember that pre reg closes Friday, December 14, 2012 at 4:00PM. RESULTS Pre reg opens today and will close on Friday. Bring those grills!!!
This week the classic Cooter’s Pond Race race makes its return to Bamacross. Only two races left in the series and the points are still close.
